Kick your ASana – A Yoga Course to advance your Practice

Have you been observing your yoga practice over time and feel that some poses (asana) don’t quite feel right? Or are you an experienced Yogin ready to take your postures to the next level? Do you want to learn ways to find a balance of both strength and grace in your poses – even those you thought were unattainable?

Starting March 6th Go Yoga will be running a special 90 minute “Kicking your Asana” workshop series at 6pm.

The workshops are fun and encourage growth in each individual’s asana practice on a personal level. Week 1 (March 6th) will focus on breaking down Sun Salutation A and B, we will be springing back and doing push-up with ease and grace! We will also establish a firm base of support so the spine can be relaxed, light and free through the practice of standing poses. Week 2 (March 20) will overcome fear and find steadiness and joy through Inversion practice. Week 3 (March 27) will explore where locked in tension and resistance lies with forward bends, twists and binds. Week 4 (April 3) will give you the tools needed to spend more time in the air (and less with your face on the floor!) in both arm and foot balances. Finally, week 5 (April 10) will explore backbends to exhilarate, bring vitality and ward off the effects of ageing and the downward plunge of the spine.

GO YOGA only run a few advanced courses per year, and as student numbers are strictly limited to maximise individual care and attention, they usually book out fast. Students can book into all five workshops prior to Feb 28th at the “early bird” rate of $125. Alternatively, they may pick and choose any session(s) for $30/session if paid before Feb 28th. Cost on or after Feb 28th is $150 for the full course or $35 per session. *Money will be fully refunded if cancellation is made prior to Tuesday Feb 27th, absolutely no refunds after this date.
