Interested in some precious downtime for the body and mind? Slow down and turn within on Saturday April 11th at 3pm with Restorative Yoga and/or 4pm with Yoga Nidra (the Yoga of sleep).
Restorative Yoga uses gentle movement, props and intentional breath work to facilitate deep release in the connective tissue and to soothe the nervous system.
Yoga Nidra, a deeply relaxing practice that generates a state of conscious sleep, or active rest, is a great antidote for our otherwise turbo-charged lifestyles. It is as close to sleep as you can be in a meditative state, without actually falling asleep. As it works directly on the energetic body, it is often cited that one 20 minute session of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of deep restorative sleep.

The early bird cost of each special class is $18 for new students, or $30 for both sessions, if paid prior to April 9th 2015. Price increases after this date to $20 and $36 for the single and double sessions, respectively.
