Have you been deeply observing your yoga practice over time and still feel that some poses (asana) don’t quite feel right? Or are you an experienced Yogin ready to take your postures to the next level? Do you want to learn ways to find a balance of both strength and grace in your poses – even those you thought were unattainable?
Starting May 15th and continuing every Sunday for 4 weeks, Go Yoga will be running a special 90 minute “Kicking your Asana” workshop series at 10:15am.
The workshops are fun, intimate and encourage growth in each student’s asana practice on a personal level. Week 1 will explore where locked in tension and resistance lies with twists and binds. Week 2 will overcome fear and find steadiness and joy through Inversion practice. Week 3 will focus on breaking down Sun Salutation A and B, we will be springing back and doing push-up with ease and grace! Finally, week 4 will give you the tools needed to spend more time in the air (and less with your face on the floor!) in arm balances.
In order to maintain individual attention and give each student optimal care and assistance, enrolments are limited to 12 students. Students are also encouraged to attend the Spiritual Warrior Jivamukti Yoga class that runs from 9-10:15am at the studio beforehand, in order to warm up the body in preparation for the workshop.
GO YOGA only run a few advanced courses per year, and as student numbers are strictly limited to maximise individual care and attention, they usually book out fast. Students can book into all four workshops prior to May 9th at the “early bird” rate of $90. Alternatively, they may pick and choose any session(s) for $25/session if paid before May 9th. Cost on or after May 10th is $110 for the full course or $30 per session. *Money will be fully refunded if cancellation is made prior to Tuesday May 10th, absolutely no refunds after this date.
